Dr. Boe
Medical Director

Dr. Lisa Pujol Boe serves as our Medical Director for Mission Healthcare at Renton and at Bellevue. Dr. Boe is board certified in Internal Medicine and has spent most of her medical career as an acute care hospitalist, only recently transitioning to the post-acute care realm. Her hospital experience makes her uniquely suited for the ever-challenging world of post-acute medicine. Dr. Boe graduated from the University of Arizona College of Medicine and completed her residency at Loma Linda Medical Center and its affiliated sites. Prior to her career in medicine, Dr. Boe attended graduate school at ASU and conducted research for the NIH in the Diabetes Molecular Genetics Section. Her academic career began at UC Berkeley where she graduated with Honors in Anthropology.
As medical director, Dr. Boe directs and oversees the care of patients- developing and directing facility policies with the Administrative, Nursing and Therapy teams- as well as providing direct patient care in collaboration with nurses, therapists, social services, specialists, and primary care physicians. Dr. Boe is enthusiastic and her mission is to provide the highest quality of patient-centered, integrated, and compassionate care as patients transition from acute hospitalization to the post-acute setting, restoring health and regaining independence whenever possible.
Dr. Boe is completing her Medical Director certification through the Society for Post-Acute and Long-Term Care, and continues to broader her knowledge and skills through continuing education programs through the American College of Physicians, The American Board of Internal Medicine, Society of Hospitalist medicine, and the American Medical Directors Association.

Heather Bills
Director of Nursing

Heather is an integral leader in the Mission Healthcare organization and representative of our commitment to developing burgeoning talent. First serving as a nurse, then later the Director of Nursing for Mission Healthcare at Bellevue, Heather provides calm and decisive leadership to our rehabilitation and nursing team.
Her years of expertise at the bedside is strengthened through continuing education. Heather is certified by the Wound Care Education Institute, and serves as a resource for our staff when dealing with complex wounds and nursing procedures.
Heather and her team are nimble, serving a wide variety of patients. She and her team provide exceptional, compassionate care, from those in rapid recovery and post-surgery to those who require nursing until their next level of care can be determined, whether long-term, skilled nursing care or adaptive home care.
When she is not leading the nursing team at Mission Healthcare at Renton, Heather enjoys spending time cooking and exploring the outdoors with her husband and two children.

Maggie James
Director of Rehabilitation

Maggie James earned her Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology and Psychology from Washington State University and her Master of Science in Occupational Therapy from Midwestern University. She has experience working with a variety of age groups, from pediatrics to geriatrics, in areas including short-term rehabilitation and pediatric outpatient occupational therapy.
Maggie has also participated in travel therapy, providing care in a variety of different settings and cities. She attributes to this experience her ability to quickly adapt to new environments, work styles, and personalities.
Maggie is proud to be a part of an established and successful nursing therapy team that is known for its exceptional customer service and professional skill level. She is passionate about the work they do every day, helping people recover and return to occupations they find meaningful. She truly appreciates each day that she is able to serve patients of Mission Healthcare at Renton and believes everyone has something they can teach you if only you are open to it.

Vivian Luu
Business Office Manager

Vivian Luu has over 20 years of Business Office and volunteer experience. She has a degree in Medical Transcription and has worked as a certified nursing assistant, as well as in scheduling and medical records.
Vivian is passionate about working closely with patients and their families to help them navigate the complex financial needs that can arise. By putting herself in their situation, she is able to bring a higher level of compassion and understanding to the role of Business Office Manager, and it brings her great satisfaction when patients and their families are pleased with the service and care they are provided.
Vivian loves working with seniors at different stages and different ages. It is through this work that she learned to care for her own mother.

Kim Straine
Director of Social Services

Kim Straine brings to the team over 20 years of experience working in Skilled Nursing Facilities in both Colorado and Washington States. She received her Bachelor of Science in Healthcare Management in 2002 from the Metropolitan State College of Denver in Denver, Colorado. Over her career she has helped individuals seek appropriate housing, access benefits and seek treatment for mental illness and substance abuse disorders. She holds certifications in Alzheimer’s Disease (Alzheimer’s Association), Person Directed Care (Eden Alternative), and SSI/SSDI Access and Outreach (Substance Abuse and Mental Illness Services Administration). Kim is passionate about helping others be as successful as possible while encouraging patient choice. By offering a positive and uplifting attitude and extensive knowledge of resources available to patients and their families, Kim helps patients experience positive outcomes every day.
In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her husband and three boys fishing, boating and exploring beautiful Washington State.
